Nearly every form of physical training involves resisting the force of gravity. This interplay between gravity and human strength became the central inspiration behind the design of the Gravity Fitness Club. The concept explores how the body pushes back against natural forces — a theme reflected both spatially and atmospherically throughout the gym.
The design distinguishes between open zones for individual training — such as cardio, strength, and flexibility — and enclosed zones for group activities including yoga, spinning, and Pavigym.
The open or “outside” areas are characterized by a darker palette. Here, grey-tinted aluminum foam wall panels evoke a sense of weightlessness, reminiscent of a lunar surface. Above, a grid of custom-designed spotlights glimmers like a constellation of stars, further enhancing the cosmic atmosphere.
In contrast, the “inside” areas are defined by warm, light vanilla tones, lower ceilings, and brighter illumination, creating a more grounded, intimate environment — a counterpoint to the expansive, otherworldly quality of the open zones.
