Occupying the second through fourth floors of the Phoenix Shopping Mall, UJOY Prime represents the latest evolution of the owners’ successful UJOY fitness brand, which already operates four other gyms across Beijing. The owners commissioned anySCALE to bring their creative vision to life and to establish this new location as a dynamic benchmark for the brand’s future.
In developing the design, our goal was to elevate the existing UJOY identity while introducing a distinct sense of exclusivity for UJOY Prime. To achieve this, we defined the space through a palette of three signature colors — Pale Pink, Granny Smith Green, and Warm Chocolate Gold — each representing specific functions and materials.
Pale Pink appears in the form of metallic curtains accentuating the reception and lounge areas. Granny Smith Green defines the long, elevated metal fence that wraps around the majority of the training spaces on the fourth floor and extends down the staircase connecting levels three and four. Finally, Warm Chocolate Gold emerges as a semi-transparent wall of metal tubes surrounding the swimming pool — a shimmering feature that underscores the gym’s refined, premium character.
