Real estate developer Kuntai commissioned the refreshment of its Beijing headquarters. A key component of our design scope was the redefinition of the building’s reception and arrival areas.
The design introduces a calm, contemporary atmosphere through a palette of soft white base tones complemented by natural greenery and materials in subtle shades of green. Together they create a welcoming environment that sets a fresh and modern tone for the headquarters’ entrance zones.
A central architectural feature is a large wall composed of semi-transparent glass bricks, which separates the main atrium from the entrance and surrounding corridors. This element filters daylight into the interior while creating a sense of depth and curiosity for visitors passing through the space.
Suspended above the atrium, a series of simple yet visually striking circular light bowls provide a soft and atmospheric illumination. During the day they accentuate the clarity of the space, while in the evening they transform the atrium into a luminous focal point, giving the headquarters a youthful and contemporary character.
